Bhatura
Ingredients
- 200 gmsmaida (plain flour)
- 300 gmspotatoes, cooked and mashed
- to tastesalt
- as neededwater
- for deep fryingoil
Instructions
- Mix the cooked and mashed potatoes with the maida and salt; add a little water if needed.
- Massage the atta well — like chapati atta.
- Let it rest for at least 30 minutes.
- Roll out each puri a little thick (less than 1/4 inch), about as big as your palm.
- Fry in hot oil on high to medium flame until puffed and golden.
- Eat hot with pickle, lime and chopped onion rings.
