Panna Cotta

Ingredients

  • 600 mlcream
  • 2 cupsfull cream milk
  • 1/2 cupsugar
  • to tastevanilla extract
  • 2 tspgelatine powder
  • a littlecold water (to bloom the gelatine)
  • to servemixed berries and berries coulis

Instructions

  1. Mix the gelatine powder with a little cold water in a bowl and set aside to bloom.
  2. In a pan, mix the cream, milk, sugar and vanilla extract. Stir over low heat until well mixed and just slightly simmering.
  3. In a big plate, set up an ice bath with ice cubes. Sit the pot over the ice and keep stirring.
  4. Add the bloomed gelatine and stir until it dissolves; keep stirring as the mixture cools down.
  5. Strain the mixture and transfer to a dish. Refrigerate overnight.
  6. Best served with mixed berries and a berries coulis.
