Ingredients
- 100 gmschawli (black-eyed peas), soaked
- 1 small piecedry coconut, roasted and ground
- a littledalchini (cinnamon)
- 1onion
- a littleoil
- 1 tbspbottle masala
- to tastesalt
- 1 1/2 cupwater
- a littletamarind juice
Instructions
- Soak 100 gms of chawli (black-eyed peas).
- Roast 1 small piece of dry coconut and grind with a little dalchini.
- Cut one onion and bagar (sauté) in a little oil.
- Add 1 tbsp bottle masala, ground coconut, the chawli, and a little salt.
- Add 1 1/2 cup water and pressure cook for 5 to 6 minutes.
- Add a little tamarind juice.
