Stewed Beef to review

Ingredients

  • 1/2 kgbeef
  • 1onion (cut fine and round)
  • 4green chillies (cut straight)
  • to tastegarlic
  • to tasteginger
  • to tastepepper powder
  • to tastesalt
  • to tasteghee
  • 1/2 tsphaldi (turmeric) powder
  • 2 cupswater
  • 1 glasswater (extra)
  • 2tomatoes
  • to tastecarrot
  • to tastepotatoes
  • to tastespice powder
  • 1/2 tspvinegar

Instructions

  1. Stamp the beef, apply pepper powder and salt, fry in ghee and keep aside.
  2. Fry onions, chilli, ginger and garlic, then add 1/2 tsp haldi powder.
  3. Add the meat and 2 cups of water, pressure cook for 15 to 20 minutes.
  4. Put a glass of water and let it cool, then open the cooker.
  5. Add 2 tomatoes, carrot and potatoes; let it cook.
  6. When ready, add spice powder.
  7. Add 1/2 tsp vinegar.
