Dal Sweet (Puran Poli Filling) to review

Ingredients

  • 300 gmsdal
  • 2coconuts
  • same quantity as dal and coconutwhole sugar (jaggery)
  • to tasteelaichi (cardamom) powder
  • 2 tbspghee

Instructions

  1. Cook the dal.
  2. Grind the coconut and dal fine.
  3. Measure with a cup and use the same quantity of sugar as the dal and coconut combined.
  4. Add whole sugar (jaggery).
  5. Mix well and stir on a slow fire.
  6. Add elaichi powder and 2 tbsp of ghee.
  7. Stir till it leaves the sides and comes to the centre, all greased.
  8. That is it, cut.
