Moong, Wattan Usal and Prawn Lonvas to review
Ingredients
- 100 gmoong
- 1onion

Wattan Usal
- to tastegreen wattan (dried peas), soaked
- 1 pcfresh coconut
- 2green chillies
- to tasteginger
- to tastegarlic
- a littlecoriander
- 1onion
- a littlebottle masala
- to tastetamarind juice
Instructions
- Moong: Soak 100 g moong for 1 hour. Cut 1 onion, baghar in oil, add a little bottle masala, moong, salt and water. Cook in pressure cooker for 1 whistle.
- Wattan Usal: Soak green wattan. Grind 1 pc fresh coconut, 2 green chillies, ginger, garlic and a little coriander. Baghar onion, add ground masala and a little bottle masala, add wattan. Put a little salt, add 4 cups water (approx). Pressure cook for 5 to 8 minutes. Add tamarind juice.
- Prawn Lonvas: 1/4 kg prawns, a little oil. Cut 1 onion, baghar, add 1/2 tbsp bottle masala. Fry, put prawns and a veg, coconut juice, 1/2 cup rice kanji, tamarind juice and salt.
