Chaudi (Chick Pea Curry) and Mutton Lonwo to review
Ingredients
- 100 gmschaudi (chick peas), soaked
- 1 small piecedry coconut, roasted and ground
- a littledalchini (cinnamon)
- 1onion
- a littleoil
- 1 tbspbottle masala
- to tastesalt
- 1 1/2 cupwater
- a littletamarind juice
Instructions
- Soak 100 gms of chaudi (chick peas).
- Roast 1 small piece of dry coconut and grind with a little dalchini.
- Cut one onion and bagar (sauté) in a little oil.
- Add 1 tbsp bottle masala, ground coconut, the chaudi, and a little salt.
- Add 1 1/2 cup water and pressure cook for 5 to 6 minutes.
- Add a little tamarind juice.

The page also contains a Mutton Lonwo recipe: boil 1/4 mutton with 6-7 flakes of crushed garlic; add 1/4 kg pumpkin or cauliflower; stamp garlic, bagar in ghee, add 1/2 tbsp bottle masala, mutton and vegetable; cook in mutton broth and add a little dry mango/coconut juice and salt. The bottom lists Meat Ball ingredients: coconut, ginger garlic, green chilli coriander, salt, spice powder, with bagar, green peas, and bottled masala.
