Vindaloo to review
Ingredients
- 1/2 kgpork
- 1 tbspchilli powder
- 2 tspjeera (cumin)
- 1/2 tsphaldi (turmeric)
- 2 podsgarlic (to be stamped)
- a small pieceginger
- to tastevinegar
- to tastesalt
- a littleoil
- a littlewater
Instructions
- Mix the chilli powder, jeera, haldi, stamped garlic and ginger together with vinegar and salt to taste.
- Mix this masala with the pork.
- Add a little oil and cook on slow fire with a little water until the pork is tender.
Vindaloo masala (recipe note): 1 tbsp chilli powder, 2 tsp jeera, 1/2 tsp haldi & garlic.
