Vindaloo to review

Ingredients

  • 1/2 kgpork
  • 1 tbspchilli powder
  • 2 tspjeera (cumin)
  • 1/2 tsphaldi (turmeric)
  • 2 podsgarlic (to be stamped)
  • a small pieceginger
  • to tastevinegar
  • to tastesalt
  • a littleoil
  • a littlewater

Instructions

  1. Mix the chilli powder, jeera, haldi, stamped garlic and ginger together with vinegar and salt to taste.
  2. Mix this masala with the pork.
  3. Add a little oil and cook on slow fire with a little water until the pork is tender.

Vindaloo masala (recipe note): 1 tbsp chilli powder, 2 tsp jeera, 1/2 tsp haldi & garlic.
