Lemon Slice (Cheryl's) to review

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cupflour
  • 3/4 cupbutter, softened
  • 1/2 cupicing sugar
  • 2eggs
  • 1 cupgranulated sugar
  • 3 tbspfresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 tspbaking powder
  • 1/4 tspsalt
  • 1/2 cupcoconut

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 180 degrees.
  2. Mix flour, butter, and icing sugar; press into an ungreased square pan.
  3. Bake for 20 minutes.
  4. Beat the remaining ingredients until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes (beat eggs first until fluffy, then add other ingredients and beat again).
  5. Pour over hot crust and bake until no indentation remains when touched lightly in center, about 25 minutes.
