Marshmallows to review

Ingredients

  • 750 gmssugar
  • 50 gmsgelatine
  • 2 large cupswater
  • 1sour lime, juiced
  • to tasteflavour
  • to tastecolour
  • as neededpowdered sugar (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Soak gelatine in 1 cup water and leave aside.
  2. Add 1 cup water to the sugar and cook on fire to a one-string consistency.
  3. Add gelatine water to the sugar syrup and stir till completely dissolved.
  4. Add lime juice, flavour and colour, and beat till light and fluffy.
  5. Pour into oiled thalis and let set for 6 hours.
  6. Cut into bits and coat completely in powdered sugar, putting coat all over.
