Dahi Wada to review
Ingredients
- 1 cupurad dal
- 1 inch pieceginger
- 1 handfulfinely sliced coriander leaves
- 2green chillies
- 1 tspbaking powder
- 2 cupschurned curds
- 1 tspgaram masala
- 1 tsproasted and ground cumin seeds
- 1/4 tsppepper powder
- to tastesalt
- to tastechilli powder
Instructions
- Soak urad dal overnight.
- Next morning, drain and grind to a fine paste.
- Mix in baking powder, chillies, ginger, and coriander leaves.
- Add salt and chilli powder, then mix.
- Shape into round balls and deep fry till golden brown.
- Drain, then soak the wadas in water for 15 minutes.
- Squeeze out the water and place in a deep dish.
- Pour cold beaten curds (sweet) over the wadas.
- Sprinkle garam masala, pepper, ground cumin seeds, and chilli powder over the top before serving.
