Ingredients
- 1/4 kgchanna, boiled
- 2onions
- a littleoil
- 1/2 tspchilli powder
- 1 tspjeera (cumin) powder
- 1 tspcoriander powder
- 1/4 tsphaldi (turmeric) powder
- 1/4 tspgaram masala
- 1 tspchanna masala
- 1tomato, ground to pulp
- to tastetamarind pulp
- to tastejaggery
- to garnishfresh coriander
Masala (to grind)
- 1green chilli
- 1 small pieceginger
- 8flakes garlic
- to tastespice powder
Instructions
- Boil 1/4 kg of channa.
- Grind the green chilli, ginger, garlic and spice powder together.
- Cut 2 onions and grind them.
- Bagar the onion in oil, then add the stamped masala.
- Add 1/2 tsp chilli powder, 1 tsp jeera powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1/4 tsp haldi powder, 1/4 tsp garam masala, and 1 tsp channa masala.
- Add the ground tomato pulp.
- Fry the masala, then add the channa.
- Cook till the gravy thickens, then add tamarind pulp and jaggery.
- Garnish with fresh coriander.
